The City Club's dramatic grand stairway on the tenth floor provides access to a variety of elegant locations suitable for your event. Each is appointed in the rich Art Deco styling for which the Club is famous.

MAIN DINING ROOM

The impressive Main Dining Room of The City Club is on the eleventh floor. The walls are paneled with Avodire and Hungarian Ash, and the windows are framed with pear wood and ebony. The entire ceiling is brass leaf over floral designs. On the west wall looms a Belgian blue marble fireplace above which is a metal base-relief depicting the signs of the zodiac.

The Main Dining Room is an excellent location for sit-down dinners for up to 220 guests. It also serves as a wonderful location for seminars, workshops, and large meetings of up to 200 people.

THE CITY CLUB CAFÉ

Gracing The City Club Café is an original 1930's library table made from black marble and brass. The paneled walls on the 10th floor were originally stretched calfskin over wood, set against galvanized iron walls. The entire cathedral ceiling is designed with bright gold leaf adorned with green gold leaf images.

The City Club Café can accommodate seated events up to 140 guests and receptions up to 250.

THE WINE CELLAR

The City Club's Wine Cellar located on the 10th floor was designed in the style of an English pub. Colorful stained glass windows, wood paneling with round keg-of-ale designs, original fireplace, and an English slate floor make the newly remodeled wine cellar an ideal location.

The City Club's Wine Cellar can accommodate seated events up to 18 and receptions up to 25.

THE LIBRARY ROOM

Located on the ninth floor of The City Club, the Library Room is appointed with art deco chandeliers and beautifully crafted wood-paneled ceilings, this room is surrounded by natural lighting and views of downtown San Francisco. Warm green tones and wood trim enclose this inviting room  along with leather backed books and library shelving, perfect for a variety of events, day or evening and will be adjoined to the new Salon room.

The Library Room can comfortably accommodate up to 80 people seated, and 100 for a standing reception.

THE CITY CLUB GRAND SALON

The new "Grand Salon" is on its way to being completed! The Salon is the newest addition to our list of beautiful dining, event, and special occasion rooms. Located at the far end of the 9th floor where The City Club of San Francisco's former offices were, it is being decorated and finished as smaller version of the Cafe. The entire hallway and new Salon will be carpeted in the same colors and tones as the 10th and 11th floors with custom carpet from Britons of England, the ceiling and exposed beams of the Salon will be finished in a high polished metal ceiling and the  beams gilded to accent a similar Deco style to the gilded silver ceilings of the 10th and 11th floor dining rooms.

The entire 9th floor will be equipped with state of the art Wi-Fi and internet access, ensuring that hosting events will be easier than ever. The room is set to include a built in sound system, projector screen and projector and with original 1930's glass panels salvaged form an Art Deco room from Paris France.  

The new Salon room will be adjoined to the existing Library with double doors, and new library shelving and leather backed books will be added to the library for décor. The shelves were installed last night.

The Grand Salon can comfortably accommodate up to 130 seated and up to 200 for a standing reception.
